Florida Baseball: It's Fantastic!

You don't normally expect a team with a $22M payroll to enter the offseason looking to shed players to save money, but that's what the Marlins plan on doing.

That situation is awful. There are a lot of sucky teams out there, but the marlins don't even seem to be trying. I'm not necessarily against revenue sharing, but I would be PISSED if I was giving money to an organization that wasn't even trying to develop and improve revenue streams by nurturing a fan base.

When I grow up, I want to be a deadbeat MLB owner.
